Love Exposure 2008

Yu Tsunoda was raised in a Catholic family. When he was in high school, his mother died of an incurable illness, and before she died, she told him to find a girl who resembled the Virgin Mary and show her to her. Soon after, the boy’s father became a priest, but he fell in love with a flighty woman, and when she dumped him, he changed drastically. Now his father summons him to confession every day so he can confess his sins. Since Yu doesn’t really have anything to confess, he starts sinning on purpose and befriends a gang of hooligans. Together with his new friends, the boy masters the art of taking upskirt photos of girls and one day runs into the very one—his Maria. Meanwhile, the “Church of Zero” cult is gaining influence, and Yu catches the eye of one of its recruiters.
