Kingdom 2019

The 3rd century B.C., the Warring States period, when the territory of modern-day China was home to numerous small states constantly at war with one another. Somewhere on the outskirts of one of these kingdoms, two orphans, Xin and Piao, train daily to fulfill their dream of becoming great generals. But one of the friends bears a striking resemblance to the ruler, and the boy is taken to the palace as his double. Soon, a bloodied Piao crawls to Xin’s shack to die, and Xin, beside himself with rage, immediately sets out to take revenge on his friend’s killers.
