Hannah and Her Sisters 1986

Hannah is a famous actress, an exemplary mother, a wonderful sister, and a smart, intelligent, and very beautiful woman. Lee is the mistress of Frederick, an elderly artist and misanthrope. Holly dreams of becoming an actress, a writer, and God knows what else. Everything starts to fall apart when Hannah’s husband, Elliot, realizes he’s madly in love with Lee. Lee leaves her elderly lover. Holly suffers yet another nervous breakdown, during which she meets Mickey—a melancholic TV producer and Hannah’s ex-husband. Tensions reach a boiling point when the sisters and their respective lovers gather for Thanksgiving.
