A Woman Under the Influence 1974

The story of Mabel, a housewife who suffers from pathological self-doubt and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Her husband Nick works himself to the bone to provide a good life for his wife and children, but Mabel is a woman who has lost her mind: one day, she sends the children to their grandmother’s and goes to a bar herself, where she gets drunk with strangers. Her relationship with Nick deteriorates day by day, but her responsible husband tries to save their marriage.
