Vietnam in 1965—still a carefree resort with hot sun, beautiful girls, and a laid-back military life. But one morning, a deafening explosion rang out... of laughter, when a new host, Adrian Cronauer, went on the air for the first time on the army radio station. He immediately became a favorite of the public and an enemy of the higher-ups. And indeed, with his jokes and unpredictable behavior, this comedian poses a real threat to military discipline.
