The Adventures of Robin Hood 1938

While King Richard the Lionheart is away on a crusade, his brother, Prince John, seizes the throne and begins to plunder his own people. Sir Robin Loxley rises up against the treacherous usurper and takes refuge in Sherwood Forest. With the support of his loyal followers, he begins robbing the rich under the cover of the crown and distributing their money to the poor.
