The Quiet Man 1952

American boxer Sean Thornton returns to his homeland in Ireland, where he falls in love with a wonderful girl named Mary Kat. She is his ideal; it’s the first time he’s ever felt such a pure emotion. However, he’s forgotten what kind of people live in his homeland. He has to deal with local traditions and customs (including paying the “bride price”). And the young fairy’s thick-headed, stubborn little brother is no picnic either—after all, he’s the town’s biggest bully and brawler. But nothing fazes the brave Sean—after all, he’s in love, determined, and bold; he’s a strong guy who can stand up for himself, and he hasn’t forgotten what he learned at boxing school.
