Lok wins the election for head of the triad and, through brutal tactics, consolidates his power. He intends to extend his term by another two years, and since this goes against all the rules, he seeks out new allies and eliminates his opponents. His main rival is Jimmy, who is less aggressive but more enterprising. The uncles favor him because he is a good businessman and knows that the future lies with mainland China.
