Architect Vanci was placed in jail pending the investigation. He is suspected of hitting a person on a crosswalk. Once in jail, Vanzi gets to know its inhabitants—hardened criminals, murderers, the insane, brutal guards, and high-ranking official Salvatore Rosa, who is serving time to cover up his superiors’ schemes. And here, this man feels like a king. After some time, Vanci is placed in a cell with a certain Pesenti, whom a powerful group and a number of officials have it in for. They’re willing to do anything to silence this man, for he possesses irrefutable evidence of their guilt in the deaths of 1,000 people. Gradually, Vantsi realizes that he is a puppet in invisible and powerful hands and that he is being used to eliminate the last witness to these atrocities…
