The Way 2010

An American doctor travels to the French Pyrenees to retrieve the remains of his son, who died in a storm at the very beginning of his pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago. Driven by profound grief and a desire to better understand his late son—with whom he had long since lost a mutual understanding—he decides to walk the Camino in his son’s place, leaving behind his comfortable, well-ordered life in California.
