Minnesota, 1983. Joel, a young film critic working for a horror magazine, decided to follow the boyfriend of his roommate—with whom he shares an apartment and with whom he is hopelessly in love. As a result, the guy got drunk and fell asleep in the bar’s back room, and when he came to, he found himself, by chance, in group therapy with the protagonists of his favorite horror movies—serial killers.
