The Black Stallion 1979

When he set out on a sea voyage with his father, Alec had no idea that fate had an ordeal in store for him that was anything but child's play. The ship on which they were traveling carried, in addition to the passengers, a magnificent Arabian stallion as black as a southern night. Suddenly, the ship was wrecked, and only Alec and the stallion managed to survive. They found themselves on a deserted island, where, having experienced all the joys of life far from civilization, they became inseparable friends. When Alek is found by a search party, he takes his friend home, where they begin preparing to compete in the most prestigious races against the best racehorses on the planet.
