The Handmaiden 2016

The 1930s, Korea under Japanese rule. A con artist nicknamed “The Count” offers a poor girl named Suk-hee a chance to take part in a scheme, promising her a substantial profit. He plans to charm a wealthy Japanese woman named Hideko, run off with her to Japan, marry her, then have her declared insane, commit her to an asylum, and take possession of her fortune. Suk-hee is supposed to help him by getting hired as Hideko’s maid. Which is exactly what she did. But suddenly, the Count’s perfect plan is threatened.
