The father of a young girl named Ella, widowed, marries a second time, and soon Ella finds herself alone with greedy and jealous new relatives - stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters - Anastasia and Drizella. From the mistress of the house she turns into a maid, always stained with ashes, for which she receives from her grumpy stepsisters the nickname - Cinderella.

Despite her misfortunes, Cinderella does not despair, because even in the most difficult moments there is something that helps her to think of good things: for example, a chance meeting on a forest path with a handsome young man. Ella has no idea that she has met the prince himself and that soon the Fairy Godmother will change her life for the better.
