After Walter and Anna were forced to move out of their apartment in downtown New York, they decided to buy their own home! But where would they get that kind of money? Just then, as luck would have it, an acquaintance offered them what seemed like a wonderful house at a fantastic price—the kind of offer you usually can’t turn down. And our unsuspecting heroes decided to go ahead with the purchase. But if only they’d known what kind of house they’d ended up with! A house “with a surprise” awaited them—a home that was falling apart right before their eyes, where absolutely nothing wanted to work properly! But the undaunted Walter decides to tackle the renovation of their new purchase. A battle with the dilapidated mansion begins—a battle not for life, but for death!
