Soylent Green 4K 1973

The year is 2022. The Earth is overpopulated; New York City alone is home to more than 40 million people. Environmental pollution has led to the greenhouse effect, resulting in the disappearance of most water resources, animals, and vegetation. In an effort to feed the population in some way, the Soylent Corporation produces a nutritional product in the form of multicolored briquettes. An investigation into the unexpected murder of a member of the corporation’s board of directors leads police detective Thorne to the factory, where he uncovers the terrifying secret of “green Soylent.”
