Schwarzenegger's partner was comedian Jim Belushi, who no less brilliantly played the role of the funny Chicago cop. The producer, director and co-screenwriter of the film Walter Hill, was very excited about the casting of actors for his film and was absolutely right when he chose these two stars. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Belushi had a harmonious duet, and the two main personalities perfectly complemented each other. The brutal and straightforward police captain from Moscow, together with the witty American cop, had the same goal, but fulfilled it in different ways. The classic comedy action film Red Heat 4K Blu-ray was the first film of that era, which showed the audience equal friendship between Americans and Russians.
