A young man is accused of murdering his own father and faces the electric chair. Twelve jurors are assembled to reach a verdict: guilty or not guilty. From the beginning of the session, almost everyone believes the defendant is guilty, and only one of the twelve allows himself to doubt. And he decides to convince the others that he is right.
