Horror story writer Howard travels with his family to the Irish countryside to find new subjects for his stories, where he becomes interested in an old church with unusual stained glass windows depicting a defeated demon.

At the same time as the writer arrived, a foolish redneck chipped a large cobblestone beneath which the evil lurked, releasing the demon. Resurrected, the monster begins to subjugate human souls, killing and eating the unruly.
