A small meteorite arrives on Earth and causes big changes. It crashes into a lonely lighthouse, which mysteriously changes the area around it.

Biology professor Lina has been suffering from the loss of her military husband for a year. Kane went on another secret mission, but never returned - whether alive or dead - the woman does not know, until one day disoriented and slightly pale spouse suddenly appears on the threshold of their bedroom. The joy doesn't last long - the man starts convulsing and bleeding multiple times, and on the way to the hospital the ambulance is slowed down by the military. Lina comes to her senses at a secret base near the mysterious zone, where numerous expeditions have already been sent, but it turns out that only one person - her Kane - has returned.
