The Hidden 1987

In broad daylight in Los Angeles, a brazen bank robbery takes place, after which the perpetrator, Jack Devries, flees the police in a stolen Ferrari, running over pedestrians along the way. Strangely, this man had been a quiet, law-abiding citizen, but suddenly lost his mind and began killing indiscriminately. The police manage to riddle him with bullets, but the criminal miraculously survives. Detective Beck and the FBI agent assigned to him, Gallagher—who is searching for DeVries—discover his dead body in a hospital room, and it soon becomes clear that the critically ill patient who had been lying in the next bed is now driving around the city in a stolen Ferrari and killing people as well.
