A Fugitive from the Past 1965

Inukai is an accomplice to crimes committed amid the widespread destruction caused by a powerful typhoon that struck Hokkaido in 1947. Inukai kills two of his accomplices and flees with the money. Along the way, he encounters a sinister blind witch who sees right through him. The fugitive spends the night with an attractive but simple-minded prostitute, leaving her a small amount of money that completely turns her life upside down. Ten years pass. Inukai has made a success of his life, wearing expensive suits and driving luxury cars. All these years, the girl has wanted to thank him for his generosity. Fate tragically brings them together once again…
