New Tale of Zatoichi 1963

Zatoichi, the blind swordsman, has grown weary of sowing death. He returns to his hometown to retire, but even there he cannot escape the brother of Kanbei, the lord he killed. Back home, Zatoichi meets his teacher, Banno, who is preparing to marry off his younger sister to a wealthy samurai. Zatoichi meets the girl, and the heart of the stern warrior is pierced by the arrow of a happy but doomed love. At the same time, he is drawn into yet another adventure involving kidnapping and robbery. He has no choice but to sort things out.
