Battleship Potemkin 1925

The Russian Empire, June 1905. Sailors of the Black Sea Fleet serving on the battleship *Prince Potemkin-Tauride* refuse to eat borscht made with spoiled meat. The mutineers are sentenced to be shot, but the ship’s crew, led by sailor Vakulenchuk, unites against the officers. At the same time, civil unrest breaks out on the shores of Odessa, which will go down in history as part of the First Russian Revolution.
